Tyler Reddick spills the beans on why Michael Jordan’s drivers are 'so good' at Kansas
Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

The NASCAR Cup garage is at Kansas Speedway for the AdventHealth 400, the 12th race of the 2024 season. The drivers to look upto going into the weekend are the 23XI Racing duo of Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace , both who have won races in within the last two season at the 1.5 miles track. 23XI has won three of the four races that was hosted by the track in the Next-Gen era.

Hence this weekend, the same level of performance is expected from Michael Jordan’s drivers. Recently while talking about what makes 23XI Racing “so good” to Bob Pockrass, No:45 Toyota Camry driver Tyler Reddick pointed out that by working together his team easily gets the car balance right at the track. Executing well and staying in the mix whole day is a factor for their win as well.

How we work together helps us unloading [and being fast] — whichever car is in the first group or the second group or even if we're in the same group, we run around each other and learn from one another. Our team does a really good job of really hitting the balance of our race cars. Then more times than not, we've just done a good job of executing all day and staying in the mix. Tyler Reddick told Fox Sports.

Reddick who has already secured the playoff by winning at Talladega is coming in seeking a second win while his teammate Bubba Wallace is coming in expecting his first win since 2022, that came at the same track. If the team gets the balance right, it would be really hard for other to deny 23XI a win on Sunday.

Tyler Reddick explains how special it was for his son to celebrate Talladega win with Michael Jordan

One of the most wholesome moments of the 2024 season has been the Talladega victory lane moment with Jordan and Reddick’s son Beau, who celebrated it together. While talking about it the ex-RCR driver pointed out that after few years, his son is going to realize how crazy the moment was for him.

But seeing after the fact, seeing Michael carrying Beau like that, it is something else. I've heard it a few times this week, and I definitely agree that years down the road, he's going to really look back on the moment and be like, "That's just crazy." I'm already thinking what a crazy moment. That was something else. Tyler Reddick said.

The No:45 Camry driver would be hoping to defend his win that came in last playoff race at track or to see his teammate Wallace scoring a win to secure playoff spot for the team. It is clear that 23XI would do everything they could to keep the dominance on the track.
