WWE SmackDown live results: Backlash go-home show

On the eve of their Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match, Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles will go face-to-face on SmackDown from Lyon, France.

Rhodes won the title from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Soon after that, Styles became number one contender by defeating LA Knight. Backlash will be the first time Rhodes and Styles have ever faced each other.

The debut of The RKO Show will also take place tonight as hosts Kevin Owens and Randy Orton welcome in Paul Heyman as their guest. Orton & Owens are taking on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga at Backlash.

Bayley, Naomi, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair are set to battle Tiffany Stratton & Damage CTRL in an eight-woman tag match. Bayley will defend her WWE Women's Championship against Stratton and Naomi on Saturday, while Cargill & Belair are challenging Asuka & Kairi Sane for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles.

Tonight, Grayson Waller & Austin Theory are defending their WWE Tag Team titles against The Street Profits. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate vs. AOP is also set.
